Canon:
So this was Fudo Yusei, the boy his Aki had taken a bizare interest in. Divine was not impressed. He didn't seem like much, barely more than a reasonably educated street urchin.
He was easy on the eye, he had to admit, with his lean stature and upright demeanor, downright astonishing taking his background into account. But he could find that anywhere, and in a less annoying wrapping. Most of all, he was a nuisance, but Divine would deal with him in time. He would either control him or, if that failed, destroy him. Maybe he'd have Aki do it, let her annihilate whatever bond he had tried to establish by herself.
Unknowingly, the boy had givin himself into Divine's hands.
"Children" Verse:
No-one knew Yusei as well as Divine did, and so no-one could know better what was good for him. More importantly, who else would make such good use of his powers? They would certainly be wasted on this brainless ward of Godwin Yusei favored so much, not to mention the man himself.
No, Yusei belonged with Divine, and the Arcadia Movement. Divine would make sure that in the future, the boy's eyes would be directed only at him, not the cruel world outside. That, after all, was his job.
